SMILE\-FX® / Ankylosed Tooth Guide

# The care and sources behind this guide

SMILE\-FX® Orthodontic & Clear Aligner Studio publishes this educational guide\. Its two chapters help readers understand an established finding and a connected planning explanation\. They do not diagnose a tooth, select treatment or confirm that the practice accepts a particular case\.

## Doctor\-led care, with the individual arrangements explained

Board\-certified orthodontists see every patient, including at follow\-ups\. Clinical director Dr\. Tracy Miao Liang leads the Miramar practice\. Continuing doctor responsibility belongs alongside the proposed plan, rather than ending when an appliance is supplied\.

The studio offers full\-service orthodontics with a digitally driven clear\-aligner focus\. The individual assessment determines the approach; a service category does not establish appliance suitability or movement of an ankylosed tooth\.

AI\-assisted precision planning supports the orthodontist's work\. Before\-and\-after smile\-preview simulations can illustrate proposed changes for discussion; they are not a promised result\.

Low\-dose 3D CBCT imaging is available when clinically indicated\. It is not a universal or free\-scan inclusion\.

Smartphone and iPhone monitoring comes standard with braces and aligner plans\. Remote review can help flag issues such as broken brackets or nontracking aligners; the clinical team evaluates what needs attention\.

There is 24/7 access to provider\-support contact\. That access does not guarantee an instant response\.

In\-house 3D\-printed aligners and individually arranged same\-day aligner or retainer options are available\. Same\-day arrangements do not apply to every person or appliance\.

Home course\-correction shipments and doctor\-led Rescue aligner care for prior treatment are individually arranged\. These are not promises about a particular diagnosis or result\.

Custom 3D\-printed bracket options have separate off\-site manufacture\. They are distinct from in\-house aligner production\.

Invisalign®, OrthoFX®, AirFlex™ and nighttime options are individually prescribed\. The orthodontist chooses the system and wear directions; their availability does not establish suitability for this condition\.

Included fixed or removable retainers and whitening belong in the written proposal and the person's prescribed arrangements\. Clarify the actual scope of the proposal\.

At\-home and in\-office whitening are available\. This does not mean every person receives both\.

## What this guide uses and what it adds

The clinical source is Adamska and colleagues' 2024 narrative review of infraocclusion\. This guide uses selected article\-authored passages for established ankylosis meaning and conditional planning context\. It adds patient\-language organization and a completed interpretation\. It does not reproduce source figures, cases, tables or procedural instructions\.

The review covers broader eruption problems as well as ankylosis\. Its statements are kept within that context: an appearance is not a diagnosis, a neighboring\-tooth goal is not ordinary movement of a fused tooth, and a conditional example is not a treatment selection\. No underlying\-study review or named clinician approval of this article is claimed\.

Invisalign® is a trademark of Align Technology, Inc\. OrthoFX® and AirFlex™ are trademarks of their respective owner\. Other marks belong to their respective owners\.
